There will be a blessing of the Prayer Shawls on Sunday, Feb. 5 during both services. Shawls will be displayed. Also, we would like to invite anyone who has received a shawl in the past to bring it and be a part of this blessing. After both services members of the Prayer Shawl Ministry will be downstairs in hospitality. Bring your needles and hooks and join us. The New Year is upon us – 2012. Join us and become amember of Unity’s Green Team!

The Green Team, while working for the betterment of the environment, and thus ourselves, is also working at creating loving community among the Unity of Madison members. The Green Team at Unity welcomes all of you to join us in the valuable team work that is so badly needed. Without the Earth we are nothing – we cannot exist. What we do today can effect future generations, our children and grandchildren for years to come.

1. Sign the green sign-up sheet in the foyer.
2. Contact any Green Team member. Team member names are found on a green sheet of paper on the table.
3. Come to a meeting. Meetings are held every third Sunday of the month at 9:30 am in the library and hospitality area.

The group Mother Circles, formerly called the Energy Medicine Group are making plans for sharing/healing tele-circles, and conscious parenting tele-circles, in addition to energy medicine practice circles. Women, are you seeking an ongoing woman’s circle at Unity? If so, please join Amy Soderman and Kay Frazier on Thursday, Jan. 5 from 7-9 pm in hospitality for the 3M circle (maidens, mothers and mavens). Women 18+ are invited to gather on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month.
