Ongoing Reminders

Parking Reminder
Our neighbors have a hard time navigating around our vehicles when we park too close to their driveways. If you park on the street, we ask that you leave plenty of space between your vehicle and all driveways. Also, if you have to turn around, please use our parking lot or go around the block.

Online Bookstore
No time to browse our bookstore on Sunday? Shop online here! Let us know if you would like to recommend a book or product for us to highlight.

E-Giving Available
Unity offers an e-giving option. For more information, see the PDF document here. You can also make an online donation. Unity of Madison is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization.

Phone Announcements
You can hear about Unity events and cancellations by phone any time. Just call the office, and listen to the greeting—press #8 for special events. Also, if Sunday services are cancelled due to severe weather (which rarely happens), this information will be at the very beginning of the recorded message.

Coat Room Usage
Please do not place anything on the counter in the coat room. There is a diagram posted which notes where to drop off items for Porchlight, Second Harvest, Battery Recycling, Cell Phone Recycling, Streaming Video and Lost & Found.

Special Donations
Porchlight: The blue bin for donations to Porchlight is under the counter in the coat room. We need: disposable shavers, old clean towels, travel shampoo, conditioners, mouthwash, single sheets, writing materials, greeting cards, socks, tennis shoes, men’s summer shorts and t-shirts.
Second Harvest: Second Harvest can buy three meals for every dollar you donate. Donation buckets are located in hospitality and in the coat room.

Battery Recycling Program
Our battery collecting container is located downstairs under the table next to the kitchen door. You can also drop them off at any Batteries Plus location.

Well-Being and Scents
We are happy to be a welcoming, healing community for all. In this spirit, we kindly request that members and visitors avoid wearing perfume and other products with strong, lingering fragrances in our gathering space, out of consideration for everyone’s well-being. (Products with strong, lingering, scents tend to include the following: perfume, aftershave, hairspray, fragranced laundry products, certain lotions and hair gels, and any other products with scents that remain strong long after application.)
