Mary Magdalene's Invitation

An experiential gathering of music and meditation that leads you into the awareness of abiding love. Mary Magdalene is central to the Easter story; yet, her powerful voice has been silenced through the centuries. Mary accompanied Jesus during his darkest moments and her example is one of holy and steadfast love. Her invitation is this: Let [love] give you what you will need for this journey.

A service of communion and remembrance, as we recommit to "love one another."
Good Friday

Using his Seven Last Words as our guide, we will enter into a time of meditation, prayer and silence as we recount Jesus's process that begins with forgiveness and ends with surrender to God. This process readies us for the resurrecting power of Divine Spirit to come on Easter Sunday.

Commemorate the Easter Vigil with a specially written labyrinth walk (weather permitting).
